CARBON CLEAN-UP

While we strive to keep our carbon emissions low, we want to take 100% responsibility for our impact to environment.

That is why we are committed to becoming Climate Neutral certified in 2023. We will be measuring, offsetting, and reducing our carbon emissions every year.

Measure

The production supply chain accounts for much of the carbon emissions in any business. We are examining every aspect of our business to measure every tonne of carbon dioxide (CO2) and CO2 equivalents emmitted.

Every year, we will measure the direct and indirect emissions at our partner factories. We will also count emissions from office use, business travel, and freight forwarding (in-land, sea, air). Every tonne of CO2 emmitted will be accounted for.

Offset

Once we finalize our carbon count, we will compensate for our entire footprint annually. Every tonne of carbon we emit will be accounted for.

1 carbon credit = 1 tonne of CO2 (tCO2) emmitted. For example, if we emitted 10,000 tCO2, we will be allocating 10,000 carbon credits to impactful projects that offset those emissions.

The projects we put our carbon credits to work are held to rigorous standards and verified by Climate Neutral and third-parties such as ‍Verified Carbon Standard, American Carbon Registry, Gold Standard, and Climate Action Reserve.

Reduce

We understand that offsetting emissions is not enough. Ultimately, we want to reduce emissions year-over-year.

While it's difficult to change our entire operations overnight, we have been taking gradual steps to prioritize sustainability in our operations.

The last step in this process is to reduce emissions. Every year, we will implement two short-term reduction goals that will reduce emissions in the following year.
